An Expert Advisor (EA) is a program that runs inside a trading platform to analyze markets and can place trades automatically according to programmed rules. HELIX QUADRIGA is an EA for MetaTrader 5 with a four-logic architecture. Automation helps execute a consistent process, but it does not eliminate risk or guarantee profits. Users still need to understand the settings and monitor the EA.
MetaTrader 5 (MT5) is a trading platform developed by MetaQuotes for accessing broker accounts, viewing charts, analyzing markets, and running automated trading. MT5 is the platform; HELIX QUADRIGA is the Expert Advisor installed within it. Available instruments and trading conditions depend on the broker. Before installing QUADRIGA, confirm the account type, instruments, and MT5 configuration supported by your product version.
A trading indicator processes price data to support analysis, for example by displaying trends or signals on a chart. An EA can use analysis to execute trading rules automatically when trading permissions are enabled. HELIX QUADRIGA is an Expert Advisor for MT5, rather than just a signal indicator. Its trading behavior depends on its logic and settings; users remain responsible for understanding the risks.
The HELIX QUADRIGA described on this website is designed for MetaTrader 5 (MT5). MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are different platforms; an EA file built for MT5 cannot be installed directly as an MT4 EA. Use MT5 according to the product guide and make sure your broker offers an MT5 account. An MT4 version has not been announced as available, so confirm platform compatibility before purchasing a license.
A VPS is a virtual computer that can stay online when your personal computer is switched off. It is not essential if the computer running MT5 stays active and connected to the internet. However, the EA needs a running MT5 environment to continue its tasks; closing the local terminal stops the EA in that terminal. If you choose a VPS, configure QUADRIGA, the broker connection, and the required permissions according to the product guide.
A demo account uses virtual funds to help you learn how to install an EA, configure it, and understand its behavior without risking real funds. For HELIX QUADRIGA, first confirm whether your license supports a demo account, then follow the supported configuration. Demo and real account results may differ due to broker and execution conditions. Testing helps you understand operation, but does not prove that an EA will always be profitable.
